Financial results 2013/14: Burness Paull posts 20% revenue increase alongside 25% profit rise

Scottish firm Burness Paull is the latest to release its 2013/14 financial results and has today (7 July) announced a hefty 20% turnover increase to £46.3m while profits have risen to £20.7m from £16.5m, constituting a 25% increase.

Dundas & Wilson reveals 4.5% revenue dip alongside 8% PEP increase in its final year

Once a storied institution in the Scottish legal market, Dundas & Wilson has unveiled its last ever financials and has recorded mixed results, with unaudited figures for the 2013/14 financial year showing a revenue decrease of 4.5% to £47m from £49.2m, while profit per equity partner (PEP) increased 8% to £181,006 from £167,625. The fall in revenue constitutes a 29% drop over the last five years.

Financial results 2013/14: Slight revenue and PEP increase at Holman

UK top-30 insurance firm Holman Fenwick Willan has posted a slight increase of 2% in global revenues with receipts growing to £143.8m in the last financial year ending 2013/14, only marginally up from £141m the previous year. Profits per equity partner (PEP) at the firm fared better, coming in at £554,000, an increase of 5% from £528,000 last year.

‘The costs have been managed hard’ – LG profits in sharp rebound as two parts of Wragge Lawrence Graham confirm 2013/14 results

Recently formed national player Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co has unveiled the combined results of its legacy firms for the last financial year, having created a firm with £172m in revenues and £58.7m in profit, operating at a margin of 34%.

Financials 2013/14: Bristows records 4% revenue drop alongside 17% PEP slide as Withers enjoys revenue boost

London stalwart Bristows has revealed disappointing results for the 2013/14 financial year, as revenue has decreased nearly 4% to £34.1m while profit per equity partner (PEP) suffered a steep 17% drop to £364,000. Private client-focused Withers, meanwhile, saw revenue grow 4.7% to £123.3m from £117.8m as well as a 3.6% PEP boost to £376,000.
