Quinn hit with $3m sanction as judge criticises firm for prioritising ‘winning’ over ‘acting ethically’

Quinn Emanuel has been ordered to pay nearly $3m in sanctions and implement ethics training after a US judge criticised its lawyers for prioritising ‘winning motions over acting ethically.’

The sanctions concern how Quinn’s lawyers handled evidence in their defence of US genetic testing company Natera in a lawsuit filed in 2021 by rival Guardant.
