SpaceX, OpenAI and Anthropic have given capital markets lawyers something that has been in short supply for several years: momentum.
The prospect of three blockbuster listings has revived hopes that global IPO markets are finally emerging from a prolonged slowdown. Earlier this month, SpaceX’s listing raised $86bn, comfortably eclipsing the last mega-IPO, Saudi Aramco’s $29bn float in 2019.
