Liz Tanner (pictured), GC of FTSE 100 energy company SSE, is retiring from her role in September, after over seven years as group general counsel, and more than two decades at the company.
Tanner began her career as legal director at business and consumer services company Cendant Corporation, before joining Neos Networks in 2001 as senior legal advisor. Since Neos was acquired by SSE Group in 2003, she has held a number of senior roles at the multinational energy company, and was ranked in the Legal 500 GC Powerlist last year.
