Weil’s London co-managing partner is set to leave the firm alongside a fellow M&A partner, with the pair understood to be in discussions to join New York rival Sullivan & Cromwell.
David Avery-Gee, who joined the firm in 2020 from Linklaters, is understood to be in talks to leave Weil with fellow ex-Linklaters M&A partner, Sarah Flaherty.
