Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier and Weil Gotshal & Manges are among a line-up of firms advising on the €20bn-plus takeover of French telecoms operator SFR by a Bouygues-led consortium, a deal which will reshape one of Europe’s largest telecoms markets.
The consortium, which comprises Bouygues Telecom, Orange and Free-iliad Group, has reached an agreement with SFR owner Altice France to carve up France’s second-largest telecoms operator, reducing the number of mobile network operators in France from four to three.
