Last week’s announcement from King & Spalding that it was taking an eight-partner international arbitration team from WilmerHale, led by Gary Born, one of the biggest names in the market, was certainly a ‘sit up and take notice’ moment.

Born is joining King & Spalding as co-head of international disputes with five London partners: Franz Schwarz, Marleen Krueger, Charlie Caher, Jonathan Lim and Steven Finizio, alongside Rachael Kent and Danielle Morris in Washington DC.
