Sidley Austin has continued its run of lateral partner hires today with the addition of an 11-strong team of funds lawyers from Hogan Lovells Cadwalader.
The team is led by two New York partners, Brian Foster and Patrick Calves. A Legal 500 leading partner for structured finance, Foster had been at legacy Cadwalalder since 2010, and co-headed the legacy firm’s fund finance practice before becoming co-practice area leader for banking and loan finance in the merged Hogan Lovells Cadwalader. Calves joined legacy Cadwalalder in 2013 before making partner a decade later.
