Pogust Goodhead brings in Quinn Emanuel and fresh funding of $150m as BHP damages battle looms

Pogust Goodhead has teamed up with Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan to deliver the next phase of the Mariana Dam disaster litigation, with the firm also securing an additional $150m in funding from long-term backer Gramercy Funds Management for the £36bn landmark dispute.

The move will see Quinn work alongside Pogust Goodhead’s team, which has already seen a string of victories in the English courts in its long-running claim against mining giant BHP.
