High Court judge rules in favour of Pogust Goodhead in Mariana Dam dispute

A High Court judge has ruled in favour of PGMBM – the firm formerly known as Pogust Goodhead – in the dispute over which firm should represent the claimants in the £36bn Mariana Dam litigation.

The ruling comes after intense scrutiny over the question of which firm will take the case forward, with Bailey Glasser International (BGI) challenging Pogust Goodhead’s role for the hundreds of thousands of claimants seeking redress after the 2015 Fundão dam collapse in Brazil.
