Clifford Chance is advising BT on its acquisition of TalkTalk, with Freshfields and DLA Piper advising on the sell side as the telecoms giant buys the struggling broadband operator out of administration.
The deal, announced today (5 October), sees BT acquire TalkTalk’s consumer and wholesale operations for around £400m, in a move intended to protect continuity of service for TalkTalk’s 2.5 million customers.
