Clifford Chance has announced the appointment of seven lawyers to its newly formalised rank of local partner, as the firm overhauls its partnership structure as part of an effort to boost PEP.
The announcement comes after LB reported that Clifford Chance was set to formalise the tier, with the firm understood to be seeking to boost its profit per equity partner (PEP) to over $5m by 2032 – roughly twice its most recently reported PEP of $2.7m (£2.1m).
