Global London crunched: the firms winning (and losing) London’s talent war

On the face of it, Kirkland & Ellis and Latham & Watkins – the biggest US giants in London – look like they’re on a pretty similar trajectory in the capital.

Both have cleared $1bn in UK revenue, both have roughly 600 City lawyers and, with PEP of nearly $9m at Latham and more than $11m at Kirkland, both are making full use of their ability to hire the best talent.
