Heading the energy and natural resources group and co-ordinating the ESG advisory practice at McCann FitzGerald LLP, Valerie Lawlor is entrusted to advise on a broad range of energy transition and nature-focused transactions and regulatory issues.

Lawlor continues to advise the Irish Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment on the design and implementation of its Renewable Electricity Support Scheme auctions.

Lawlor is a key academic thought leader on the energy transition, having delivered a session to UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School students on renewable energy finance, market development and risk allocation.
