Valentina Eigner at DLA Piper Weiss-Tessbach Rechtsanwälte GmbH advises major clients on renewable energy transactions, including renewable power purchase agreements, renewable hydrogen sales, and biogas sale and purchase agreements. Her practice also extends to the carbon markets, where she advises on emissions trading matters.
Beyond her client work, Eigner made a leading contribution to the promotion of renewable energy development by creating a PPA template for the German Energy Agency to encourage the wider adoption of PPAs and support the construction of new renewable power facilities. She also teaches Energy Law at the University of Applied Sciences in Wels, with a particular focus on renewable energy markets and regulation. Within the firm, Eigner is actively involved in its carbon markets priority workstream and supports its engagement with the Sustainable Markets Initiative.
