PLMJ’s Raquel Azevedo is regularly entrusted by leading domestic and regional clients to integrate ESG and sustainability matters within capital markets and corporate governance mandates.
Azevedo advised gas and electricity transmission network operator REN on the update to its €5bn EMTN programme, which facilitated the issuance of green bonds. Azevedo also advised Caixa BI and Novo Banco as coordinators on media company SIC’s €48m sustainability-linked bonds issuance.
Beyond client work, Azevedo is a member of industry association Women in ESG Portugal. Azevedo also recently spoke on how capital markets can boost sustainable development and impact investment in Angola.
