Serving as the renewables practice lead at MAQS Advokatbyrå, Mikael Kowal regularly advises developers, investors, and energy companies on the permitting, development, and financing of landmark green power assets.

A key client is Rabbalshede Kraft, whom Kowal advised on a joint venture with Skövde Energi to develop green hydrogen and renewables assets in the Skaraborg region. The mandate supports the production of green feedstock for Swedish industry and transport.
