An expert in the power purchase agreement space, Weitenberg assisted leading global chemical group LyondellBasell in negotiating a 208 MW power purchase agreement, securing electricity from the Bartow solar farm. In a cross-border mandate, Weitenberg also acted for Brookfield Asset Management on the European aspects of its PPA partnership with Microsoft, through which the client will deliver 10.5 GW of additional renewable energy capacity across the US and Europe.
