Luis Pérez de Ayala heads the public law practice at Cuatrecasas and is a key contact on regulatory matters and transactions in the green energy space.
In a €580m mandate, Pérez de Ayala advised renewable infrastructure investment manager Schroders Greencoat on its acquisition of a 49% stake in a 400 MW wind and solar portfolio from Repsol Renovables. Pérez de Ayala is also advising Volkswagen on energy supply contracts and environmental matters concerning its Valencia gigafactory megaproject.
