Luis Miguel Ramírez Ruggeberg, who has recently been appointed managing partner of LHO, is deeply engaged in the energy and environmental sector, often advising on groundbreaking renewable energy and environmental projects across Latin America. A number of his clients are leading the way in the green transition, such as The Carbon Trust, French pioneer in environmental solutions Veolia, renewable energy tech company Prodiel, and nature investment startup Cultivo.
In a particular highlight for the Ministry of Sustainable Development, he was involved in drafting the regulations of the first ecozone in the continent, the Ecozona del Centro Histórico de Cuernavaca. Subsequently, he was named president of the energy transition and climate committee of the Ecozone Council and president of the entire Citizen Council of the Ecozone.
Ramírez has also been appointed as Secretary to the Sustainability Committee of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Mexico, and serves as Vice President of the Legal ESG Group of the British Chamber of Commerce.
