A key client is Aker Carbon Capture, whom Thaulow represented in the sale of 80% of its business to SLB and in the subsequent establishment of a joint venture for their carbon capture business. The deal is vital in accelerating the roll-out of carbon capture solutions, allowing the client to play a critical role in the fast-moving and essential carbon removal space.
Thaulow is also a key advisor to impactful sustainability projects, assisting HUB ocean – a non-profit member of the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution – in its mission to utilise data to heal and restore the ocean. Supporting the organisation, Thaulow has assisted on issues concerning ocean data publication, licensing, and copyright.
