Heading Accura Advokatpartnerselskab’s renewable energy team, Jakob Østervang brings long-time expertise in transactions and corporate mandates across the clean power landscape. Experienced in the on- and offshore wind, solar, and biogas segments, Østervang counts major domestic and global investors, financial institutions, and sponsors among his clients.
Østervang regularly advises major Danish power companies on impactful renewable energy projects, with leading wind investment firm Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and its subsidiaries being key repeat clients. In an ongoing, cross-border matter, Østervang is advising COP Frontier and Copenhagen Infrastructure New Markets Fund on the corporate structuring aspects of its joint investment in and development of a 500 MW offshore wind project in Bangladesh.
Committed to making a leading impact in the renewable energy space, Østervang actively engages in the Green Power Denmark industry association, providing knowledge and legal advice to support the organisation in its objective to empower Danish companies within the green transition. Østervang also serves as a co-facilitator of the firm’s ‘Females in Renewable Energy’ networking group, supporting the initiative in its work to boost diverse talent in the clean power space.
