Heading the ESG and sustainability practice group at Poul Schmith, Fleming Pristed provides deep expertise on sustainable finance, responsible business practices, and green technology initiatives. Pristed is also an expert on EU sustainability regulation and reporting, greenwashing risk, ESG frameworks and compliance, and carbon-based financial products.
A key contact is Swedish sustainability-focused embedded lending platform Lisa&, whom Pristed advised on its partnership with Samsung Electronics Nordic to provide financial services within Samsung’s Flex sustainable device initiative. The mandate supports the roll-out of an eco-friendly approach to technology adoption, helping promote a vital circular economy solution.
Demonstrating a key engagement with the academic discussion of sustainability law, Pristed co-authored Djøf Forlag’s textbook ‘Sustainability Law’. Pristed also serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Copenhagen’s faculty of law, providing insight into sustainability and banking and finance topics. Bringing his perspective into the legal and business communities, Pristed regularly holds seminars and keynote speeches for clients, in-house counsel, and dedicated forums on ESG and sustainability regulation.
