Fiona Ross leads the climate and sustainability workstream within Pinsent Masons LLP’s environmental law practice, specialising in environmental regulation and nature-based projects.
A key client is the Eden Project, whom Ross is advising on the creation and operation of a habitat bank, as well as the negotiation of a managed service agreement for a separate habitat bank. The mandate helps generate high-quality biodiversity units which support long-term ecological improvements.
Leveraging her deep expertise in the natural capital space and with the biodiversity net gain regime, Ross contributed toward the Institute of Sustainability and Environments Professionals’ report on natural capital as critical infrastructure. Ross also recently contributed to the International Bar Association’s nature toolkit.
