Elisabeth de Nadal leads Cuatrecasas’ sustainability team and specialises in sustainability, human rights, and international law, frequently representing clients through major litigation processes. De Nadal’s practice includes assisting high-profile clients such as Telefónica in integrating sustainability management into their operations, as well as advising on green transition, decarbonisation strategies, and circular economy rights.
De Nadal spearheaded the launch of the firm’s ESG unit and coordinates its cross-practice sustainability group. Through her leadership, the firm updated its ESG policies and achieved placement within the top 10% of the sector, as certified by EcoVadis.
De Nadal regularly participates in sustainability events, where she discusses the intersection of sustainability with legal and economic perspectives. Helping upskill legal teams, de Nadal also delivers training to the firm’s lawyers on environmental matters, ensuring that their services align with best practice on climate and the green transition.
