Pastures new: Legal Business hits Fleet Street while Legalease welcomes a key new hire

After a decade based in Ansdell Street in leafy Kensington, Legal Business and the entire Legalease family are moving to more central, larger premises in Fleet Street.

The move reflects the success of both businesses and will mean we are more conveniently located to meet regularly with our core readership. It does mean that publication will be interrupted until the start of the week commencing 2 June. Our email and phone numbers will be unchanged but our new address is:

188 Fleet Street

London

EC4A 2HT

While it will be sad to leave Kensington, I speak for the team when I say we’ll enjoy the chance to meet the odd lawyer without a three-hour round-trip. I plan to immediately begin our siege of Freshfields.

The office move is one of a series of moves by Legalease to improve its work across The Legal 500 and Legal Business and other publications. Notably this week also saw the arrival of former Chambers & Partners’ managing editor Catherine McGregor, who has joined the company in a new role as Publishing Director, Corporate Counsel. Catherine, who joins us from Lawdragon, has a fantastic reputation in the international legal industry and will lead initiatives to improve our engagement with general counsel.

As such, Catherine will drive projects focused on the global in-house community and work alongside The Legal 500 and Legal Business. On the subject of in-house projects, we’re also gearing up for our GC Power List Summer Reception at 11 June at the Ivy. See you around more centrally.
