From 74 interested to nine strong panel: Circle Housing appoints panel after year-long review

Following a 12-month review of its legal advisory panel, Circle Housing Group, the social housing provider for London and the South East, has awarded panel spots to nine firms after shortlisting 17.

The nine go-to firm’s that were selected include: the recently merged Wragge Lawrence Graham, Capsticks and Trowers & Hamlins. The contract itself is split into five categories: employment and pensions; property and development, housing management and general litigation, mergers and acquisitions; and general legal services including finance, policy and regulation.

Wragge Lawrence Graham and Capsticks were awarded spots in three categories each, followed by Clarke Willmott and Winckworth Sherwood that won places in two lots. The reminder of firms – Blake Morgan, Weightmans, Mills & Reeve, Shoosmiths, Devonshires, and Trowers & Hamlins – all won one spot each.

Circle Housing Group received 74 expressions of interest in response to the Official Journal of the European Union notice last year. From these, 40 firms returned pre-qualification questionnaires and 17 progressed through to the tender stage.
